Job Opportunity : Engine Exchange Programme

Are you between 18 and 25 years of age and would like to live and work in rural communities?

The Engine Exchange Programme is a LEADER European funded programme between Småland in Sweden and a partnership between Angus, Perth and Kinross and Fife Council areas in Scotland.

The programme will see a group of 15 people from both Sweden and Scotland take part in an exchange. The exchange will last for 10 days and will see participants taking part in a number of activities and placements.

We will be looking to recruit 5 people from Angus, 5 from Perth and Kinross and 5 from Fife to take part. We are also looking for people who are, or are interested in becoming, leaders in a rural community and who are open to new ideas and experiences.

For those who are interested in taking part, we will carry out a selection process to make sure participants get the absolute maximum from the experience. Those who are selected will travel to Sweden. They will then take part in personal development and cultural programmes and will spend time working in an appropriate placement for approximately 5 days. All travel, accommodation and food will be included.

For the group travelling from Scotland to Sweden we are currently accepting expressions of interest with recruitment session taking place in the 3 areas February/March 2020 and the exchange scheduled for Summer 2020
